Biofade is a 2D apocalyptic story-driven game, with Chapter 1 introducing players to a world on the edge of collapse.
You step into the shoes of Simon Briggs, a factory worker in NorthCliff City, who lives with his sister Emma after the tragic loss of their parents. Their ordinary life is shattered when a catastrophic event occurs at a nearby biotech laboratory.
An experiment involving dangerous radiation goes horribly wrong, mutating the scientists into aggressive creatures. The lab is sealed in an emergency, but many mutants escape, spreading chaos throughout the city.
On the day of the disaster, Simon is at work when news of the outbreak reaches him. Now, he must navigate a city overrun by radiation mutants, facing danger at every turn, as he races to find and protect Emma. The fate of their lives — and the secrets of a fading world — rest on his shoulders.
